To celebrate the reopening of the hospitality sector, Early Table, with support from the RAI and Fáilte Ireland are hosting Dining week. The ten-day event is a celebration of the Irish food scene, aiming to boost business and encourage customers to eat out and support their local restaurants.
Adrian Cummins, of the RAI, said: “We are delighted to introduce Dining Week and see it as an ongoing initiative that will help support the restaurant industry. Dining Week will encourage patrons to re-engage with local eateries and celebrate quality food and hospitality across Ireland.”
Customers can browse hundred of restaurants and various cuisines on www.diningweek.ie and make a booking to avail of a 25% discount on their food bill. It costs just €1 to book and all the proceeds will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul in an effort to curb food poverty.
“It’s been a long and difficult two years for our hospitality industry, and we hope that DiningWeek is the kickstart that’s needed now. A small booking fee is required on the EarlyTable platform, but for DiningWeek, we decided to donate the fee to St Vincent de Paul given the great work they are doing to support the hosting of Ukrainian refugees” said James Lenehan, CEO of WinWin, the company behind EarlyTable.
Dining Week is endorsed by the Restaurants Association of Ireland and is sponsored by WorldPay from FIS. Garrett Clifford of Worldpay added: “Worldpay are thrilled to support Early Table with our sponsorship of Dining Week, a fantastic initiative to help and support our Restaurant sector in Ireland”.
